Honolulu International Airport (HNL) is the gateway to the Hawaiian Islands and is served by many major world carriers including the island's main airlines, Hawaiian Airlines and Aloha Airlines.

There are three terminals including the Main Overseas Terminal, Interisland Terminal and the Commuter Terminal.

Passenger facilities at the three terminals include ATM machines, bureau de change, a 24-hour medical facility, postal services and business facilities. There are also many shops and restaurants throughout the airport.

You will find information booths in the Baggage Claim areas of each terminal and at both ends of the main concourse of the Main Terminal. Information staff can provide details on the airport and directions to the city and hotels. The information booths are open 21 hours per day from 04:00 to 01:00. Some useful numbers include:

Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets


You will find newsagents, gift shops and flower stalls throughout Honolulu International Airport (HNL) at all three terminals. The Main Terminal has the bulk of the shopping options and also comes with a duty-free shop for those traveling overseas.

Bars, Cafés and Restaurants


There are many eating options, especially in the central lobby of the Main Terminal, where passengers will find a food court complete with snack bars, Pizza Hut, Burger King and an ice-cream parlor. Fast-food restaurants and vending machines are also available in the other two terminals.

Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities


All three terminals have cash machines and there is a bureau de change in the Main Overseas Terminal. The Main Terminal also has a post office in the Business Center and post boxes are located throughout the airport, as are public telephones.

Business and Conference Facilities


The Business Center in the Main Overseas Terminal has business facilities that include a photocopier and computer access, while the Garden Conference Center offers four conference rooms. Conference facilities can also be found at the Interisland Terminal and many airlines provide business-class lounges.

Disabled Facilities


Honolulu International Airport conforms to standards for the accessibility of the disabled, providing adapted toilets and telephones, ramps, elevators and assistance when necessary.
